Who wouldn’t open a box with this headline? Alcatel-Lucent challenged AP42 to create a direct mail campaign designed to motivate call center executives, in specific vertical markets, to schedule a face-to-face meeting with a Alcatel-Lucent representative.
The three dimensional mailer contained a letter nested within a foam insert, and an offer for a complimentary iPad in exchange for a meeting with Alcatel-Lucent representative. It worked! 9% of “C” level executives made the call.
