I recently read Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh’s piece in Inc. explaining why he eventually caved in and sold out to Amazon.com.

He and Jeff Bezos originally discussed a sale back in 2005, but Hsieh was worried that they’d lose the customer service-centric company culture he worked so hard to create. Four years later, Hsieh changes his mind, Bezos having convinced him that Amazon and Zappos shared common customer service goals, and the deal went through.

Anyway, Hsieh just published a book about his Zappos tenure and I thought I’d check it out on Amazon.

Oops. I guess this doesn’t look too good…
